From Fountain Valley to Argyle: A Heartfelt Thank You
Our team at Mimi’s Jewelry would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the residents of Argyle and the surrounding communities for the incredible warmth and hospitality you showed us during our recent jewelry buying event.
We were invited to Argyle by our dear friends, Lynn and Curt Seeden, whom we’ve known for over 30 years through our shared home in Fountain Valley, California. When the Seedens moved to Argyle five years ago, they quickly became just as involved and beloved in your community as they were back home. So when Lynn encouraged us to visit and “meet the community,” we did — and we instantly understood what makes this place so special.
Shortly after, Lynn asked if we’d consider hosting one of our jewelry buying events in Argyle. Without hesitation, we said yes. We had the privilege of holding the event at The Seeden Club, the Seedens’ own photography studio and creative space. It was the perfect venue: welcoming, personal, and full of character. A big thank-you to Hannah, the club’s wonderful manager, for helping things run smoothly — and to Greg, Lynn’s son, for being part of the experience.
What truly made this trip unforgettable were the connections we made with so many of you who came in. We loved hearing your stories, learning the history behind your cherished pieces, and having meaningful conversations that reminded us why we love this work. These moments are what stay with us long after the event is over.
And we have to mention one more thing: The Bartonville Store has officially become our favorite new restaurant. Great food, great people, and a great vibe — we couldn’t stay away!
At Mimi’s Jewelry, we only host events in communities where we have a genuine connection. It’s never about showing up just to do business — it’s about showing up because we’re invited by people we know and trust. That’s what brought us to Argyle, and your incredible community confirmed we made the right decision.
We returned home feeling enriched — not just by the event’s success, but by the friendships and memories we brought back with us.
Thank you again, Argyle. Until next time.
