Our Client’s Love Us!
David is AMAZING! My fiancée and I just recently got engaged and got our sets of rings through Mimi's. David went above and beyond the entire experience! At first we thought we wanted moissanite instead of diamonds for the center stones and David was able to get us excellent quality lab diamonds for the fraction of the cost! He worked around the clock with my fiancée and was able to adjust everything she asked for, making multiple renders and a wax mold of the rings to see in advance. They came out better than we could have imagined! 10/10 recommend. David is our jeweler for life!
David at Mimi's was super honest, he quoted me the highest on buying my ex wife's wedding ring back. I went to the original builder of the ring and he offered less and wasn't as honest and upfront as David was. Will for sure be coming back for life and have earned my business for the future.
Great prices and quick customer service for your old, used jewelry! Dave evaluated my jewelry and offered a good price within 5 minutes and cut me a check on the spot. The have an amazing selection as well. I will definitely be returning to sell more and make a purchase.
Searching for a Diamond can be a tough process. The first few jewelers I went into felt like used car salesmen and didn't take much time to educate me on diamonds or the important features to look for. I was frustrated and thought I might have to order a stone online from Blue Nile or James Allen. A family friend referred me to David at Mimi's and he made a great impression upon our meeting. David's passion for diamonds is evident and he took time to explain what is important when looking for a stone. It was a no pressure environment and David said he could work with whatever our budget was and provide the most competitive prices. He is involved in the local community as well and does a ton of referral business which shows he cares about his clients. If you are in need of a jewler who is knowledgeable about his craft, passionate and very professional, I would recommend reaching out to David
I found the perfect wedding ring for myself (I picked it out and my fiancé bought it). It was unique, masculine and gorgeous. They had all of the classics and tons of alternates choices.
I loved that they had sample rings of different sizes, materials, shapes, edges, etc. This made it extremely easy to determine what I liked best. I went to four other jewelers first and they had only a fraction of what Mimi's Jewelry offered.
I came in with some old jewelry, just to see if it was worth selling. David offered a higher price than other jewelers in the area. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. He's very knowledgeable about the product, and can even tell where the jewelry might have been bought. Super friendly service, and you feel really welcomed here. Highly recommend if you want to buy/sell jewelry.
I recently worked with David and he gave a very fair and honest price for my mother-in-laws Rolex. The process is always straight forward and easy. David is a consultant professional and is upfront about the realistic value for such pieces. I live in Illinois, but quickly became comfortable doing business with Mimi's Jewelry. I highly recommend this business!
I purchased my engagement ring from NK Jewelers in Fountain Valley but when one of the diamonds fell off, I brought it back to them. Instead of trying to help me get the stone replaced, they tried to sell me a new setting for $1200. They told me it probably wouldn't be possible to replace because they don't make this style anymore and it would cost too much to replace so it would be easier to buy another ring. I wanted time to consider my options so after leaving NK, I went to Mimi's. Mimi's sent it in for a quote and it came back at $280. They replaced the diamond in less than 2 weeks! Mimi's provided great service, honesty, and reasonably priced. I'm buying my jewelry from Mimi's from now on.
I highly recommend Mimi's Jewelry. Not only was the customer service superb, the craftsmanship phenomenal. David really went out of his way to help me restore my Grandmothers wedding ring. Having recently passed, there was a lot of sentimental attachment to a very old ring that needed a lot of work. But David and team were up to the challenge! I couldn't be more pleased with the work; I look at the ring and smile very time! Thank you, the results really speak for themselves.
Besides making BEAUTIFUL pieces and providing solid repairs, Mimi's Jewelry is a warm, welcoming establishment with honest work at reasonable pricing. My family trusts them with our most important, sentimental pieces. Thank you to David and his staff!! We are lifers!!
I am not a jewelry person. I begrudgingly wear a fitness tracker ring because it's less cumbersome than the sort that goes on your wrist. But I found myself going to Mimi's because while traveling through the area for a wedding, my mother said she needed to replace a watch battery. I made some calls.
At first, I was a bit put off that when I inquired about a battery replacement, i was told I'd have to leave the watch over night. But the price was right and Mimi's location was next to where I'd be so I decided to go in to hand off the watch. Once in the store, my mom resisted handing off her watch and asked if someone could just take the time to replace the battery on the spot. We were told all battery replacements take place at the end of the day when the person does them all at once. Fine. We could pick up the watch the next day.
The woman who was on duty was very nice.
The next day, we came in to pick up the watch on our way to the wedding. The woman working (different than the day before) asked for my mom's receipt. She didn't have it handy so the woman looked for it by her name. All in all, it was a short, pleasant transaction.
We were charged $15 for the battery and labor, but given a $1.50 discount as new customers. That was a nice surprise.
In the car, my mom said to me, "I really liked the person who served us." I laughed, saying, "All she did was hand you your watch, mom." But my mom said, "Yes, but she was kind and she smiled with even with her eyes. Her voice was confident and respectful. She made you feel attended to." I couldn't disagree.
And for that kind service with a smile, I offer five stars.
